Pittiplatsch, also called Pitti, is a small black goblin with the gift of the gab and a big heart. He is curious, whimsical, and quite lovable. His actions are well-intentioned but often they are not altruistic and, unfortunately, in most cases they go wrong. He then is really sad and promises to be "veeery deeear"! Children have always loved Pitti and they still do today. Pitty reflects their own little weaknesses, flaws, and fears. His best friends include the precocious duck Schnatterinchen and the clumsy dog Moppi. Schnatterinchen is always friendly, polite and helpful, whereas Moppi can adopt a nasty attitude being able to defy Pitti.
