Vick, Carly, and the bear brothers take Neva to the cave. They see Rex Vector driving a robot there. It turns out that the earth core extractor still works. Rex wants to trade Neva with the safety of the forest. However, they refuse the deal. Vick and Bramble distract Rex Vector, while Briar and Carly go to shut down the extractor. Vick and Bramble defeat Rex and take the robot. Vick discovers the robot can analyze the weak points of its enemy. He takes advantage of it and maneuvers the robot to destroy the extractor and return the energy to earth. Neva gradually recovers and the forest returns to normal. They say goodbye to Neva, and promise they will meet her again. Wolfgang learns Rex Vector fails again and decides to terminate their cooperation.
