An elk is heading to arrange for the upcoming nectar event. On the way he meets with Rex Vector, who comes to get the nectar of the “source tree”. Rex chases the elk trying to catch him. The mama skunk distracts Rex and helps the elk escape, asking him to call for help. However, the elk trips and falls while escaping, and forgets the whole thing. He happens to meet Carly, Vick, the bears, and Ear. The elk is muddled in thought and leads them to fall into a pit. And now at last he recalls everything and tell them what happened. Then they set out to save the mama skunk and the “source tree”. On the way, they see Mr. Pete, who’s about to deliver the mama skunk to the lab. They decide to split up. Carly, Briar and the elk go to save the tree, while Vick, Bramble, and Ear stay behind and finally save the mama skunk.
