Vick, Carly, and the bears discover Rex Vector’s lab under the mountain. They successfully get the entrance password and get in. There’s an earth core extractor inside. The strange sounds come from this machine, and the anomalies that occurred in recent days are caused by the extractor as well. They find out the message left by Rex and learn that he plans to use this machine to extract the energy of the earth core. However, his real goal is to catch Neva. They work together to break the machine, and continue on their way to find Neva. However, the machine restarts after they leave the lab.
